BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING → Makeup Revolution, Stila

So I did som damage during Black Friday. Haven’t gotten most of it yet, but I do have some things to show you guys! As many of you may know, I really like Makeup Revolution. Very (VERY) cheap makeup – but their products are good quality. Fun fact: one of my all time favorite lipstick is from them and it was only $2! I didn’treally have high hopes at all, the first time I bought something from them. I often find myself thinking “if it’s too cheap, the makeup is probably not the best” – shame on me! They really had me fooled. I have yet to receive something bad from them.

Which leads me to this gorgeous set. I saw this on their website and it had a big discount. I was going to buy the blush palette anyway, so why not just buy the whole set and get the other things too? It was around $1 and you get 8 blushes, 8 highlighters and 2 brushes. That is freaking insane. I already had one of their brushes and I love that one, so I wanted to try the ones in this set, so you know it was faith and I had to purchase it.

Again I had low expectations. Shame on me. Again. I don’t even know where to start, I’m so high on this. The blushes are all very pigmented and you can never go wong with those colors. The highlighters I’ve only swatched a bit, but so far they look good. Well I wouldn’t say they beat my ABH highlighter or Mary Lou, but they’re awesome and very good for that price.

Then there’s the brushes .. They’re one of the softest brushes I own. One of them (the biggest one) is a blusher brush and the angled one is a highligher brush (could be used for contour as well).

Don’t even get me started on the design .. They actually look expensive which I really like. I’m a sucker for pretty brushes. All in all, I’m 100% pleased. Can’t wait to play with it all!

The next thing I got was a liquid lipstick from Stila. Maybe you’ve heard of it, since it’s one of the most talked about on YouTube. I got the color Bellissima and it’s sooo pretty. This is how it’s described: “Enriched with Vitamin E and Avocado Oil, Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick hydrates and softens lips. Featuring a weightless texture which delivers superb comfort to lips, Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick has a colour-rich formula which will not bleed or transfer.”

And I agree 100%. I swatched it on my hand and 2 days after, I can still see some of the swatch. That’s what I call a long lasting lipstick! It’s feels nice to have on the lips, which means a lot to me, because I hate wearing liquid lipstick that feels horrible. I now get why they are so popular.  Five stars from me!
