Smashbox is one of my favorite makeup brands, they make the most beautiful and pigmented makeup. I’ve been testing all of these products and finally have an opinion on them. Smashbox is in the high end category, so their products are a bit pricey – but you get something for your money, I promise. Spoiler: I have yet to be disappointed.

Let’s start with the palette. This is genius, you get 3 brow products, contour/bronzer and highlight products, and a lot of eyeshadows. So convenient.This is the perfect every day palette. I was afraid that the face products would be too dark for my skin tone, but they matched perfectly. Do NOT judge it when you look at it. Do not take this for granted. It may look like it’s not something you really need in your life, but once you swatch everything … WOW. I liked it, but after that I fell in love. The shades are absolutely perfect, smooth and insanely pigmented. Now there is some fall out because of how pigmented they are, but it doesn’t really bother me. Just tap the excess off and you’ll be good to go.

I know Smashbox had a palette where the shadows weren’t on point and not that pigmented, but that’s not the case with this one.

You can also use the brow & face products as eyeshadow!

I also really liked the brush that comes with it. Normally I always throw them out, but this is a keeper.

To the left, you have 3 brow products and then you have the bronzer, contour, under eye setting powder and highlight. The highlighter is a hidden gem, it’s beyond amazing! I had my ABH kit ready to mix, because normally these types of highlighters sucks, but I didn’t even have to use it. It’s so good!

Here’s the shadows. The perfect colors for me. They may look a bit boring, but trust me: once you swatch them or put them on your lid, they are pure perfection and you will die. And A+ for the transition shade.

I also got the Smashbox Fusion Soft Lights in the color Baked Starblush. I always wanted to try this, so I was excited to test it out. It’s a disc of five baked, glimmering shades to bring a soft veil of shimmer to the complexion. You can use it as highlighter, blush and even eyeshadow. I like to swirl them all together and put it on my cheeks. Super pretty!

Now for the lip products! Let’s start with the lip liners. These are the Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liners. The light pink color is called “Frenchie” and the nude is called “Nude Fair”. Both super beautiful colors, right up my alley! They go on smooth and creamy and they last all day. Buy them here:

I got the cream lipstick in “Pretty Social”. These vitamin-fortified cream colors do not settle unevenly on the lips or dry out. Their moisturizing, satin-smooth formula softens and protects lips with shea butter and vitamins C and E. LOVE! I really love the formula, it looks beautiful on the lips and goes on really smooth.

The last one is the Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer. It’s been talked about a lot and people wondered if it actually works. It’s a gel that transforms any cream lipstick and creates a velvety-matte finish. I tried it on the cream lipstick I talked about before and yes it does work. This is perfect for makeup artists and even regular makeup lovers at home. It quickly became a trend to have matte lipsticks, now everything is matte. You can also use this for concealer, you basically have 2 products in one which is genius. I find that it applies the best with a beauty blender.

Next thing I want to talk about is the Clinique Superprimer Face Primer. It’s lightweight, oil-free primer that helps create a smooth, even canvas for foundation. There’s a Superprimer for redness, dullness, discoloration, and sallowness. This one is the Universal Superprimer, which preps skin beautifully for makeup. It is translucent and you can even wear it alone. I really like this one, and my foundation does stay on all day! I definitely recommend it.

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm is perfect for the lips. I got it in the color “04 Mega Melon” which is a sheer peachy pink. It’s so nourishing and moisturizing and gives a hint of soft shine. I love lip balms with a bit of color, it makes your lips look amazing and healthy. So much more fun than a plain white balm! You don’t have to  sharpen it, simply swivel up to reveal more of it. This will last you forever!

A product that looks a bit like the lip balm, is the Clinique Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in the color 02 lots o’ latte. It’s a sheer, creamy color – the perfect base for eyeshadow or you can wear it alone if you want to get ready super quick! This doesn’t need sharpening either! There’s tons of colors to choose from to make your eyes pop. This specific color I can’t find on the website, maybe it’s only a part of the set, but you can find the other colors down below.

I also tested the Clinique High Impact Mascara in black. What it’s supposed to do: “Instantly volumizes, lengthens, and defines each and every lash”. So is it true? YES! Guys it’s so hard for me to find mascaras that I like, so I was a bit nervous for this one, but I liked it right away. My lashes look amazing, it doesn’t clump or smudge and I just know that I will be using this every day. The wand makes it easy to apply, it’s not too thick or too thin and it’s easy to control,  A+. Trust me when I say you need this in your life.

Clinique Sculptionary Cheek Contouring Palette is beyond amazing. I only use it as blush, and I have it in the color “Defining Nectars”. I need to go buy the other shades as well, because wow! It blends and build beautifully. You can use them separately to colour, contour, highlight or do as I did – use them as blush. You can also swirl them together for a quick easy glow, so many options which I love. It is also long-wearing, oil-free!

Lastly for the makeup section is the Clinique Pop Lip Colour and Primer. Can I just say that Clinique has one of the BEST lipsticks, I want them all! I got the color 04 Beige Pop. It’s SO comfortable, pigmented, smooth and creamy. It’s a lightweight formula that lasts for hours. It’s a satin finish and the color is a light, pinkish nude creme – an every day shade. This is the perfect color for me, it’s hard to find pretty nudes for my skin tone, but this is perfect. I’m so in love you guys! Mac, go home (did I just really say that?)

Now for the skincare products!

I’m always looking for the perfect moisturizer, I’m very picky. I tried the Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, it comes in amazing light pink packaging and it looks so pretty! It’s a multitasking, lightweight cream-gel that provides up to 24 hours of soothing hydration. It feels so luxurious and amazing on the skin. It immediately cools and refreshes for a soft, smooth complexion. My skin is insanely dry and I’m not lying when I say this: after the first few times I tried it, I could feel a huge difference. My skin got so smooth and hydrated and it feels completely new. This will be on the top shelf, it’s my new go-to cream for sure. It sinks extremely fast into the skin, so you don’t get that annoying sticky feeling – I HATE it. Huge bonus, I now swear by this.

Then there’s the Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum. I hate my pores and I buy everything that can make them smaller – skincare, primers, you name it. This product contains the Pore Resurfacing Complex, which quickly and gently clears out debris and rough flakes. Over time, skin creates stronger supports for a tighter, smoother, younger look. It’s oil-free and ideal for all skin types! They say after 2 weeks up to 58% of the pores will seem smaller. I haven’t been able to try it for that long yet, but I will keep you guys updated! So far I really like it. The best pore-product I’ve used, no doubt.

Last but not least, Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream. I’ve been looking for something like this forever, I heard so many good things about this product, so I had to try it. I needed something that would brighten, hydrate and take care of my under eyes, because that’s super important. Its cool touch and de-puffing tip help keep eyes looking fresh while smoothing the way for makeup. If you suffer from stress, fatigue, and lack of sleep this will help you right away. I noticed a difference after the first time I used it! A little goes a long way and it will last you for a really long time. The bags under my eyes disappeared and my makeup looks so much better. This is a must have.

Conclusion: there’s not one product that I didn’t like. This is my 100% honest opinion – you know I would never ever lie to you. I completely fell in love and there’s a reason why Clinique is one of my all time favorite brands. Their packaging is just amazing, every single product looks so good, you really want to show it off. I’m really surprised that I liked everything, and it just left me wanting more, so there’s no doubt that I will have to go and buy more, there’s still so many products I want to try.

Hi my loves. I still have a lot of makeup on the way, but I thought I’d show you some of the things that already arrived. I think this time I will do a haul, showing you what I got and then do another blog post with review and swatches. That way I get to try out the products a lot more and get you a full detailed review instead. Hope that’s okay with you guys!

In this little haul I got some stuff from Makeup Revolution and Wet n Wild. Some things I’ve been looking at for a while now and finally just went ahead and bought them!

I’ve been really into contour/cream contour/bronzing – something I’ve always done but for some reason I’m EXTRA into it, actually rather obsessed.

I knew I would love these two contour kits from Makeup Revolution. I bought the powder version and the cream version:

This is what the packaging look like. It gets dirty right away, so don’t mind that.

Super sleek, and not cheap looking at all. Makeup Revolution is so affordable but always has the most amazing packaging – and product. Their quality is crazy good!

I’m just in love and can’t wait to play around.

I also got this from Makeup Revolution! A bronzer, a highlight and a blush palette in Ultra Fair.

Look at that blush! Wow. It has some golden shimmer to it, which I love.

I swatched all of the products and they are VERY pigmented and creamy, so it looks promising! I will give you guys an update when I’ve tried everything and have an opinion 🙂

Then I got the new Wet n Wild brushes! Heard soooo many good things. I normally stay away from drugstore brushes to be honest, but these were so affordable, cute and well liked. I started out with 3. A fan brush, a crease brush and a shadow brush. They are all VERY soft, more than you’d expect. They pick up product perfectly and I’m very satisfied. I need more!

Hi guys! Here’s a small Colourpop haul, I have a lot more on the way, so there will probably be a part 2! In the first round I bought the new Ultra Satin Lip in “Echo Park”, this is one of their best formulas EVER. So comfortable and I’ve only heard good reviews – which I totally understand now. I’m obsessed. The other one is their matte liquid lipstick in “Trap” – which everyone knows, it’s SUPER popular and so hard to get your hands on. Of course I had to have it in my collection! So now I can proudly say I own Trap, haha.

Then I bought one of their new lippie stix in “Hype Girl” and oh my god … It instantly became my favorite. So smooth, so creamy and the color is beyond beautiful. Like I was speechless.

The last one is one of their eyeshadows, also a new one called “Wattles”. Guys this is my new favorite eyeshadow, I’m not even kidding. The formula and color = perfection. I can’t even believe it. Colourpop is so affordable but you get such high quality, it’s crazy.

This is the lippie stix in “Hype Girl”. It’s a soft coral nude in a matte finish. It doesn’t look matte in the pictures because it wasn’t dry yet. $5.00 buy it HERE.

Hi my loves! As soon as I get my paycheck I’m buying makeup. And spend most of it. I know, it’s bad. So I have another haul for you guys, not as big as I wanted it to be, but I’m saving the rest of my money, so I can buy makeup later this month. Look at me being an adult!

Anyway, I got some goodies, both drugstore and high end so there’s something for everyone.

If you follow me on social media, you already know that I finally got my hands on Anastasia Beverly Hills’ liquid lipstick in Pure Hollywood and I swear I cried. It’s impossible to get in Denmark, you can’t buy it here, BUT a online store opened and they began selling it. First they didn’t have the colors I wanted, but I stalked them and when I saw they got Pure Hollywood, I was the first to get my hands on it and I’ve used it ever since. It quickly became my holy grail. I was afraid it was going to be too nude, since I’m really pale and it’s tricky with shades like that, but it looked PERFECT. So happy! I bought it here. 

Another thing that’s (almost) impossible to get in Denmark, is the Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation. At least for me, because I don’t live anywhere near a Sephora. I did find a website that’s shipping to Denmark, the only catch: shipping is $14,72 which is a lot, but I wanted this foundation for so long, so I caved in. I bought it HERE.

From the same website I also got the RCMA loose powder, that I talked about in another post. Found it on 4 different websites but it was sold out, but not on this website. Lucky me! From Wet n Wild, I got the popular Rose Champagne Glow To Reflect Shimmer Palette. I like it, but after some time it got a bit patchy. You don’t just get a highlight, but also a bit color which I really liked. I have to try it a bit more, but it’s nice.

Also from Wet n Wild I got the Mega Glo Illuminating Powder in Strike-A-Pose-Rose. It looked different online, so when I got it, it was a bit disappointing. It looks kinda scary in the picture, but I think it’ll be great once I play around with it.

You guys know how much I love Rimmel’s Kate Moss line, especially the lipsticks, so I had to try the Kate Sculpting Face Kit. I LOVE the packaging, wow. Looks so pretty. You get a highlight, a contour (though it’s more of a bronzer) and a blush. It comes in 3 different colors. The contour is more warm in real life and unfortunately a bit too orange. I think the other shades would be better, but I can live with it. I really like the blush, the highlight .. Not very pigmented. But if you want to have a natural highlight, this would be perfect.

So for liquid lipsticks besides the ABH one, I got 3. The first one is Milani in Adorable. Similar to Pure Hollywood, but a bit darker. The liquid lipsticks from Milani was limited edition but they brought it back and I snatched it really quick. I was so mad I didn’t get it the last time. Sadly I heard this color and formula is bad, but the other ones should be good. I haven’t tried it yet, so I guess I’ll have to see.

The other two are from Stila. I already own a lot of them, but these colors are my favorites! Also holy grail, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love them. They’re called Caramello and Baci. They have gold packaging (YESSS), where the “normal” Stila liquid lipsticks are black. These are limited edition, so keep that in mind.

I couldn’t get them to show up true to color on my camera, so I’m showing you pictures from Google, so you can see how beautiful they are.

I’ve been on a hunt to find a good drugstore eye primer. Milani came out with one and I had to try it. I was hoping it would cancel out the colors on my lid, but since it only has a tint, it didn’t. Not much to say about it, I like it but I don’t love it.

 

In this haul I also want to include the two things I bought from Sigma. A lipliner and a lipstick. Can we just talk about the packaging for a moment? So impressed. It feels expensive and high end. I saw this combination in a video and it looked beautiful. The lipliner is HUGE. Way bigger than Macs, it’ll take so long to finish it. It’s very creamy and easy to apply, definitely one of my favorites. The color is too dark on it’s own, so I like to fill in my lips with it and then put the lipstick on top. So pretty! They are a lot more nude/pink in real life. The lipstick formula is amazing, very pigmented and also really creamy.

The lipstick is called Dance Till Dawn and the lip liner is called In Fine Feather.
