DRUGSTORE MUST HAVES

Hi loves! You all know I love my high end makeup but I love my drugstore makeup just as much and sometimes we just don’t have the money to buy something expensive, so I thought I’d make a blog post with my all time favorite drugstore must haves! These are the things I can’t live without and if you don’t have these things in your collection yet, RUN! They are amazing – and cheap woohoo!

Let’s start with concealers:

Concealer is one of those things I’m obsessed with. I have a few drugstore favorites and they are all raved about on YouTube. The first one is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer. I just love this overall. The second is NYX HD Concealer and the third one is Maybelline Fit Me. They’re all amazing, creamy, good coverage, nice range of shades and easy to work with!

Another one is L.A Girl Pro conceal, soooo cheap and such a good coverage and a ton of shades!

For Primers:

Rimmel Stay Matte is (obviously) a matte primer, it feels a bit weird to put on, like it has a funny feeling and I know a lot of people didn’t like it, but it’s not often you find a drugstore matte primer and I like it. The second one is Maybelline Baby skin, I love this because it’s an instant pore eraser, lightweight and silicone based.

Powder:

I only have one and it’s the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. It’s also lightweight and just awesome. Keeps me matte and you don’t look like you just put a bunch of powder on. Can’t live without this one!

Okay I lied, I also have Maybelline loose powder. I think this is a new one, they came out with another one too. I really like this, there’s not that many drugstore loose powders and the one I use every day is one from Too Faced and it’s insanely expensive. So go Maybelline!

Foundations:

First I have the Fit Me from Maybelline. Other than the shades, this is an amazing foundation, almost everyone loves it and it’s definitely a must have.

The second one is Wet n Wild Coverall. Talked about this one before, so cheap and so underrated. Great coverage and it looks so pretty on the skin.

The last one is L’oreal True Match. Also talked about this one before, same thing with this. You just can’t live without it!

Blushes:

The first one is from Maybelline. I can’t remember the exact name, but it’s so incredible for pale skin and it’s very natural. The other one is from Sleek. It looks scary, I know! But once it’s on your cheeks, it look’s so pretty and not orange at all.

I mentioned these triple baked blushes from Makeup Revolution in another blog post and of course had to mention them here as well. They’re dupes, insanely pigmented and cheap. You need these!

Contour:

NYX Wonder stick. Now it doesn’t look as dark in real life, but it comes in different shades. I don’t care for the highlighting end, but the contour end is amazing and it makes so much easier!

Highlighting:

NYX Born to glow liquid illuminator. I’ve used this so much, sometimes before foundations, sometimes mixed in with it and sometimes on top of it. It’s the most beautiful color and I will never ever get tired of it!

The highlighting palette from Makeup Revolution is a must have also. Pigmented and very pretty. It’s hard to choose and you never get bored!

Eyebrows:

I love the eyebrow pomade from NYX. A pretty good dupe for the ones from ABH. Not much to say other than the fact that it works really good.

Eyeliner:

I have two from Rimmel. Now these .. Holy jesus. Buy them, okay? So buttery, long lasting and pigmented. I have the black and the nude one. FAVES! Btw I ruined the black when I was taking pictures for you guys … Love my life 🙂

Mascara:

I did a recent post on these (here), so I’ll make this quick.

The first one is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. You can not go wrong with this one! The second one is Wet n Wild Mega Length Mascara, it’s perfect for the lower lashes. The last one is Maybelline Illegal Length, it makes your lashes look beautiful and black!

 

Lipstick:

These are the L.A Girl glazed lip paints. They all look similar in the photo but in real life they’re completely different. They’re really cheap and look beautiful on the lips. There is so many shades, so there is something for anyone!

The last ones I want to mention is Makeup Revolution “The One”. It’s very creamy, and I’m so in love with this color. The second one is from Rimmel (Kate Moss line) number 14. It’s a brown-nude color and I wear this a lot!
